At this delivery ceremony, Yu Chengdong, Managing Director of Huawei, CEO of Terminal BG and CEO of Intelligent Vehicle Solutions BU, delivered a speech in which he said that the Ask world M5 EV is the world’s highest value SUV and will be launched on September 6 together with the Huawei Mate 50 series. At the same time, Yu said: “Our (intelligent) experience is not in the same class as all other intelligent cars, and we are far ahead in the intelligent experience. Our software capabilities, our cockpit (has) the ability to constantly upgrade, our Hongmeng cockpit is rated as the world’s best intelligent cockpit experience, there is no one.”
Yu said that he has been buying and driving cars since the 90s and has a rich experience with cars. In addition, many owners reflected to him that “our biggest drawback and problem is that maybe the price is too low.”
The M5 EV has been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in early June. The new vehicle is positioned as a medium-sized SUV, with a length, width and height of 4785/1930/1620mm and a wheelbase of 2880mm.
According to Yu Chengdong, the M5 EV continues the AITO brand’s family-oriented extreme, simple and pure design, with a further front face that features a closed “shark nose” design and an exclusive “Warm Nebula” color scheme that is more youthful and stylish. At the same time, the car will also continue to be equipped with HarmonyOS intelligent cockpit to enhance the user experience.
