Sources say that Apple will launch AirPods Pro 2 at the launch of the iPhone 14 series, which will be the first update to the series in three years. The new AirPods Pro 2 will be equipped with a better chip and will also offer better noise cancellation, longer battery life, and lossless audio support for Apple Music.
However, according to overseas blogger ShrimpApplePro, AirPods Pro 2 has requirements for phone models and can only be adapted to iPhone 11 or above models, some iPad models, and Mac computers with M-series self-developed chips.
The reason for this is reportedly because iPhone 11 and above models are equipped with the U1 chip, which allows for lossless audio, active noise cancellation and other features when paired with AirPods Pro 2.

Other aspects of the AirPods Pro 2 are expected to eliminate the ear grip design, and the new charging case will be waterproof and have higher durability.
In addition, AirPods Pro 2 may also be equipped with a sound finding function, unified with iPhone, iPad, AirTag and other devices to join the “Find” family.
