On the eve of the opening of the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show, the Autohome front reporting team photographed the AION Y Plus Trendy Edition real car at the exhibition hall. The car has been pre-sold before, with a pre-sale price of 146,800 RMB. It is expected to be officially launched at this Guangzhou Auto Show.
AION Y provides users with 14 exterior colors + 5 interior themes. Car owners can DIY through the App to make each AION Y an “exclusive limited edition”. Aian has previously co-created a number of modified models with car owners, including the Aegean convertible version, starry sky camping version, cyber e-sports version and so on. This time, Aion officially stepped in personally, established a special modification team, and adjusted the production line to achieve mass production of modified cars. It launched the purely electric official-modified AION Y Pus trendy and wild version. The target users are also young people who pursue individuality.
The purpose of the official modification is to provide users with the greatest protection in terms of parts price, safety, and after-sales service. It also avoids problems such as cumbersome declaration procedures and current regulations that restrict the use of modified vehicles on the road. The AION Y Plus trendy and wild version is customized by professional designers and engineers according to user preferences. Each appearance kit is customized with a 1:1 mold opening. The original accessories enjoy a full vehicle warranty and do not need to be registered to legally go on the road.
The entire new car is embellished with cool gray and orange trim strips. The “hardcore” combination of flying-wing front grille + tornado wheels + blade rear bumper is more recognizable. The newly added mecha luggage rack can also be used to place skateboards, bicycles, surfboards and other outdoor sports equipment at will, creating a more interesting “outdoor magic car” to meet the needs of young people for social sports.
The new car is based on the AION Y Plus 70 Smart Edition, and will continue to be powered by a permanent magnet synchronous drive motor with a maximum power of 204 horsepower and a peak torque of 225 Nm. In terms of battery, the car will be equipped with a 61.7kWh battery pack with a cruising range of 510km and supports reverse discharge function.
