The first pure electric supercar Hyper SSR under the brand of EAN recently appeared in the production line, from the picture of this so-called “China’s first supercar” car a total of orange, white, silver, blue, green and yellow six body colours to choose from.
It is reported that the production line is located inside the first factory of Guangzhou Automobile Eyan, the car applied a new process such as carbon fibre, and many processes are also the first time the domestic car factory used. it is noted that, because there are no machine hands, it looks like a purely manual assembly line. It is also reported that this is the first mass-produced supercar production line in China, which has historical significance.
The Hyper SSR adopts a flat design concept, with a compact and shapely front face, slender headlights on both sides in an “L” shape, and segmented LED light bands to increase recognition. The lower front envelope is designed with large heat sinks to enhance the sporty feel of the front.
The Hyper SSR’s sidelines are smooth, and the waistline on the door panel is protruding to enhance the sense of three-dimensionality. In addition, the car also uses exaggeratedly shaped rims to make the sides fuller. In terms of dimensions, the Hyper SSR measures 4538/1988/1238 mm in length, width and height respectively.
The car’s rear design is also very complex, with high brake lights on the roof and an integrated rear camera, and slender tail lights underneath that echo the diffuser device and lifting rear wing on the rear surround, and further highlight the car’s sense of movement.
The Hyper SSR’s interior design is simple and generous, with a 14.6-inch floating centre screen and 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel, and a hexagonal steering wheel with carbon fibre material and a paddle-shift electronic mechanism.
The Hyper SSR will be powered by a front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive system with a maximum power of 1225 hp and an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 1.9 seconds. The car will also be equipped with ELSD electronic limited-slip differential, SDC intelligent variable damping damper and R-EPS steering to optimize dynamic balance and improve handling performance.
It is reported that Hyper SSR has already started pre-sale. The pre-sale price of the basic version is RMB 1.286 million, and the pre-sale price of the Ultimate track version is RMB 1.686 million. The specific delivery time is still unclear.
