Age of Wonders 4 goes live on Steam and will be released on May 2

Paradox Interactive and Triumph Studios have announced that Age of Wonders 4, the next generation of the classic fantasy 4X turn-based strategy game series, will be available on PC, PS5 and XSX|S platforms. The game will be available for PC, PS5 and XSX|S platforms.

The game has now appeared on the Steam platform, showing that the game supports Simplified Chinese and is expected to be officially released on May 2, 2023. The game’s official description states that Age of Wonders 4 will be “more open and dynamic than ever before”.

Rule a fantasy realm of your own design! Explore new magical worlds in Age of Wonders’ signature 4X strategy and turn-based combat. Take control of your empire on a turn-by-turn basis and watch your faction grow and change!

In addition to this, Paradox Interactive and Triumph Studios have released a 40-minute-long live demo of Age of Wonders 4. Following 2019’s Age of Wonders: Fall of Planets’ foray into sci-fi, this marks a return to a more traditional fantasy setting for the series.

Similar to its predecessor, Age of Wonders 4 still follows the same formula of strategy elements and turn-based gameplay. The film also shows the faction creation screen for the new 4X strategy game, welcoming players to use various faction aspects, including races, cultures, social traits, magical texts, the origins of rulers and more.
