Age of Empires is one of Microsoft’s heavyweight IPs, but the latest in the series, Age of Empires 4, is not coming to Xbox, Microsoft’s own console, but according to the latest news, it looks like things are about to change. Maybe we’ll get the news that Age of Empires 4 is coming to Xbox tomorrow.
Microsoft Xbox VP Aaron Greenburg has retweeted a teaser for the Age of Empires 25th anniversary live event via his social media. While not explicitly giving the schedule for this live event, he did however hint that fans of either platform should tune in to watch the stream. It is also officially considered from here that a number of players believe this means that Age of Empires 4 will be released for the Xbox.
The Age of Empires 25th anniversary live event will take place on the 26th at 1am BST, so stay tuned.
