After the successful launch of “Baldur’s Gate 3”, Larian Studios is not satisfied with the status quo. Studio director Swen Vincke revealed in an interview that the team is already working on their next project.
According to an interview video released by the Dungeons and Dragons YouTube account, Swen Vincke said he is busy working on the next game. He also mentioned that the PS5 version of Baldur’s Gate 3 has been “finished and uploaded”.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has been a hit for the Belgian studio since it launched into Early Access in 2020. It is learned that “Baldur’s Gate 3” currently has an average score of 96 on Metacritic, making it one of the most highly rated games of the year. According to the SteamDB report, the game had 875,343 concurrent players at its peak on August 13th.

Despite the game’s success, Swen Vincke admits they were worried before launch that the game would receive poor reviews or that there would be too many bugs at launch.
Baldur’s Gate 3 received its second major PC patch last week, and the update included some additional small story content and a number of bug fixes.
While Larian Studios didn’t reveal details about its next project, Swen Vincke previously confirmed in an interview with IGN that the team will be returning to the Divinity: Original Sin project “at some point,” but only after Baldur’s Gate 3. 》After the completion, the team rested and then returned.
