ADATA Launches USB4 Interface SE920 Mobile SSD, read speeds up to 3800 MB/s

ADATA today announced the launch of its first USB4 transmission interface SE920 mobile SSD, while backwards compatible with USB 3.2 and USB 2.0, and support for Thunderbolt 3 & 4, read speeds of up to 3800 MB / s. The first USB4 interface SE920 mobile SSD was launched by ADATA on October 31, 2011, and is now available in the market.

In addition, the ADATA SE920 mobile SSD is equipped with a Type-C interface to support connectivity to mobile devices such as cell phones.

The ADATA SE920 is equipped with a USB4 transfer interface with a read/write speed of 3800/3200MB/s. Transferring 10GB of 4K video is claimed to take only about 3 seconds, and it supports connecting to different operating systems and computer platforms, such as Android, macOS, and Windows, and it can also be connected to a gaming console for use.

Previous quote from techpowerup, the ADATA SE920 uses an M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD inside, as well as ASM2464PD main control chip from ASMedia, with 1TB and 2TB capacity versions, and no pricing has been announced for the time being.
