The mobile hard drive uses a 40 Gbps USB4 interface, internally uses M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD, and ASMedia’s ASM2464PD master chip.
ADATA SE920 has two capacity versions of 1TB and 2TB, both of which provide sequential transfer read rates up to 3800MB/s and write rates up to 3200MB/s.
The mobile hard drive has a brushed aluminum case with a physically sliding structure to open the ventilation holes for active internal heat dissipation. The mobile hard drive comes with a USB4 Type-C to Type-C data cable, and the price has not yet been announced.
