The Cologne Game Show that opened today, Quantic Dream announced that it will launch the plot action-adventure game “Dustborn” in early 2024, telling the story of players’ adventures in the western United States.
The game is developed by independent studio Red Thread Games and published by Quantic Dream. The game has not yet announced an exact release date, but it will land on PS5, PS4, Xbox and PC (Steam and Epic game store) platforms.
The game introduction is as follows:
Dustborn is a single-player story-based action-adventure game about hope, love, friendship, robots… and the power of words.
You play as Pax, an exiled deceitful deviator who can turn words into weapons.
Pax is looking for a new life and a way out when she is hired to transport a vital cargo from the Pacifica to Nova Scotia, passing through the Justice-controlled American Republic. Sounds like a valid reason for a road trip, right?
Then pack your bags, gather a group of players with unique skills, and prepare to travel around the country!
Hop aboard a robot-driven tour bus through the breathtaking New West landscapes of fictional America, making stops at more than a dozen locations along the way to form teams, manage relationships, complete missions, and tackle escalating challenges. But the owner wants to recover your stolen goods, and the authoritarian agency Justice is hot on your heels, so don’t forget your baseball bat!
