According to the official news of AAC Technology, recently, AAC Technology has newly developed the first ultra-narrow bezel 67dB SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) digital microphone, equipped with a fully self-developed chip. From design and development to production, the whole process of localization has been realized.

According to reports, compared with the microphones used by mainstream Windows laptops on the market, this product is smaller in size, has a higher signal-to-noise ratio, and a wider range of broadband response. It can not only better adapt to the full screen of a laptop Design, but its far-field sound pickup distance has also been doubled, and it can still pick up voice signals clearly at a distance of 4 meters, which can greatly improve the audio performance of notebook computers.

This new product is equipped with AAC Technologies’ 1 x 1mm small-size high-performance microphone chip, and adopts self-developed single-backplane MEMS technology. With MEMS design, it is realized in an ultra-narrow package of 4 x 2 x 1.1mm³ The sensitivity is -26dBFS, the signal-to-noise ratio is 67dB, and the acoustic saturation point (AOP) is 120dBSPL. According to the official statement, the product has an ultra-narrow edge size of 2mm, which is suitable for the camera module, and the sound hole is located on the top of the microphone, which can meet the design requirements of the current large-screen notebook.
