It seems like there’s no stopping OnePlus this year. The company has already launched a flagship and several mid-range smartphones on the market. But OnePlus isn’t finished yet. There have been several rumors regarding the upcoming OnePlus phone, and earlier today, a new OnePlus leak via the Digital Chat Station revealed a few key specs of the upcoming OnePlus device.
Upcoming OnePlus phone specifications (rumored)
The leak suggests that the upcoming OnePlus phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. This is Qualcomm’s latest offering which was announced just a month ago.
Besides the SoC, the device will reportedly sport a huge 6.7” screen with a 2412 x 1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will reportedly have a flat-screen with a hole-punch design. An under-display fingerprint scanner will likely be added.
This new OnePlus device will supposedly come with a 4,800 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The device will likely come with a 160W charging head out of the box. The device will also have dual-yang linear motor NFC support. The leaker hasn’t revealed more specs.
The leaker was kind enough to reveal a render of this new OnePlus phone and it looks similar to the flagship, the OnePlus 10 Pro. the release date or the price range haven’t been revealed yet.
This year OnePlus skipped on the standard OnePlus 10 and only released the OnePlus 10 Pro. This could be the speculated OnePlus 10 or the OnePlus 10T if the company has decided to go back to its previous launch schedule. But at the moment, the moniker for this new OnePlus device is yet to be confirmed.
