Perhaps many users choose iPhone because of the smooth iOS experience and rich application ecosystem. So which iPhone feature do you think appeals to you the most? Recently SlashGear launched a poll on its website and received feedback from a total of 621 US iPhone users. The most popular feature among U.S. iPhone users is the FaceTime feature.

AirPlay came in second with 17.23 percent, followed by Battery Health Check in third with 12.40 percent, the Offload App (a space management solution that allows manual/automatic freeing of local iPhone storage) in fourth with 9.82 percent, and finally Drag and Drop in fifth with 8.37 percent.

FaceTime is Apple’s proprietary video chat application and ecosystem, available on iPhone, Mac and iPad devices. Recently, however, Android and Windows users have been able to join FaceTime calls through invitations they receive. For a long time, FaceTime was limited to users of the Apple ecosystem, but along with competition from services like Zoom and Google Meet, Apple has begun to open FaceTime to other platforms.

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, apps like FaceTime allowed people to stay connected, even when they were forced apart. This type of software helped many of us regain a sense of intimacy that we couldn’t get with a simple phone call. FaceTime, along with other popular apps, was even used to help families talk to patients who were unable to visit their loved ones in the hospital during quarantine.
