Toyota recently announced the 2025 4Runner, which is based on the TNGA-F platform and is a hardcore off-road 7-seater SUV.
The 2025 4Runner uses the new TNGA-F platform, the Ladder Frame non-bearing body and the high-rigidity body, allowing this SUV to maintain excellent off-road performance while bringing a better driving experience.
The 2025 4Runner comes standard on TRD Pro, Trailhunter and Platinum models with a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine good for 207 kW (278 hp) and 512 Nm of torque.
The TRD Off-Road and Limited models use the i-FORCE MAX hybrid system, equipped with a 2.4L Turbo + Hybrid engine with an output of 242 kW (326 hp) and 630 Nm of torque, both equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The 4Runner will be available in two-wheel drive, part-time four-wheel drive and full-time four-wheel drive. The price has not yet been announced, but it is estimated to start at about US$41,000 (Note: currently about 297,000 RMB).
