Recently, Hongqi officially released the official pictures of the 2024 H9. The new car has been adjusted for appearance details. According to the previous application information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the 2024 Hongqi H9 has newly applied for three engines: 1.8T, 2.5T and 3.0T, and the power parameters have been improved. In addition, a 2.0T engine was declared in the change application, and models equipped with 2.0T engines may also be launched in the future.
The new Hongqi H9 continues the overall design of the current model and maintains a solemn and majestic style, but the specific details have been optimized and upgraded. In the front part of the car, the new car will use brand-new arrow-feather style LED daytime running lights, which has a stronger sense of technology. The lattice-like chrome decoration inside the straight waterfall grille is larger in size, and the shapes of the high and low beam light groups and the lower surround have also been slightly adjusted.
There are not many changes to the side of the body. The front fenders are equipped with red flag trim strips, and the new car will also be equipped with a variety of new styles of rims. Looking at the rear of the car, the shape of the taillights remains basically unchanged, the lower surround has been redesigned, and a diffuser-like shape has been added. The exhaust pipes on both sides adopt a partition design to achieve the visual effect of four exhaust pipes on both sides. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5137/1904/1498mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3060mm, which is basically the same as the current model.
As for the power system, according to previous declaration information, the new car will be equipped with three engines, and the power parameters have been improved. The maximum power of the 1.8T engine is 165kW/224 horsepower; the maximum power of the 2.5T V6 engine is 223kW/303 horsepower; the top model still uses the 3.0T engine, with the maximum power reaching 248kW/337 horsepower, which is not much higher than the current 3.0T. few. In addition, Hongqi declared a 2.0T engine in the change application, and may also launch models equipped with 2.0T engines in the future.
