According to the latest report published by the screen supply chain consulting firm DSCC, 1 quarter of 2023 foldable phone shipments of 2.1 million units, has been declining for 2 consecutive quarters.

The report points out that foldable phone shipments will peak in the 3rd quarter of 2022, with total shipments exceeding 6 million units and total growth of all OEMs exceeding 500%.
According to the brand breakdown, Samsung remains the industry leader with a 45% market share, while OPPO is second with a 21% market share.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 was the most popular foldable phone in 1Q2023 with a 27% market share.
A screenshot of the tweet shows that the second most popular foldable phone is the Huawei Pocket S, with a 15% share. Next Galaxy Z Fold 4, accounting for 13%, followed by OPPO Find N2 Flip, accounting for 11% and Huawei Mate X3 accounting for 6%.
