2022 World 5G Congress to kick off in Harbin on August 10

The 2022 World 5G Congress will be held simultaneously online and offline in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, Aug. 10-12, according to Science and Technology Daily. Approved by the State Council, the conference is co-hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Heilongjiang Provincial People’s Government.

As the world’s first international event in the 5G field, the World 5G Congress has been successfully held for three times. 2022 World 5G Congress, with the theme of “Building 5G Ecology and Promoting Co-creation and Co-benefits”, will build a bridge for cross-regional industrial collaboration, present the technological progress, upstream and downstream collaborative innovation and application implementation of 5G industry, and also deeply link 5G core resources will empower the development of digital Longjiang.

The 2022 World 5G Congress official website and WeChat public number registration system was officially opened on July 5, and visitors and media can register through this channel.

On June 6, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued 5G commercial licenses to China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Radio and Television, and China officially opened the curtain of 5G commercialization, and 5G development entered the fast lane.
